wiring the hatch

im going to run my wires in the roof due to me only having a single skin

how do you run wire to your tailgate lights in the hatch ???

mine makes the jump from the tear to the hatch at the top of the galley wall, while this is the way to do it, I see why the originals had the tail lights on the fenders or sides of the galley.

I used 2 4 wire plugs. This way if I ever needed to remove the hatch, it was a simple unplug. Plus all the wires were color coded to make hooking up easy.

I did the same - added a plug near the hatch hinge, but I used m/f Molex connectors (4-pin computer component power supply plug)

Del City delcity.net has a selection of Trailer Connectors you can choose from.

I'm using a 5-Way connector so I can turn the galley hatch light on or off with a light switch. 5-Way Connectors
