Slow, you should be out in the shop now working on trailer #2. Once the weather breaks you are going to want to do other stuff.

Sun is shining here today and the last of the snow melted yesterday.
We have had the big sleep in, daylight savings time is here, and we are going out to start on the Farm chores this afternoon.
Can't wait to get everything done so we can hit the road in less than 2 months.
Yes, I have been bored with winter too. :(
Thank God for the Forum.

Just set your clocks ahead one hour. Most cell phones make the change automatically via the network.

Today started out at freezing and by the time I got out of work it was 62 F!!! Yesterday we still had quite a bit of snow/ice on the ground and now it is only the shaded areas and where it had been piled up.

Feels like spring is finally on the way in!

I think this situation is summed up nicely by the late 20th century philosophers Mercury, May, Deacon , and Taylor Saying "I'm going slightly mad"

I think 3 more weeks will make a huge difference. I also know during March Madness tournament (that's the round checkered ball or the small dimpled one? I hate sports) it always has one last hurrah here in indiana. I hope we just had that yesterday.

82 degrees :x

We were tickeling the 60's on Tuesday and Wednesday we woke up to 8 degrees and a few inches of new snow

The vault toilets at our State park were even treacherous.

Maybe I am weird.. maybe wise.. :NC Knowing I have very little control over the weather, I try to embrace what ever we have. It is late enough in the season.. that we have had some teasers of spring. Today.. snow.. lots more snow.. cold and blowing wind. Instead of longing for spring.. being disapointed in the snow… I look at what I can do with it. Instead of longing for the future.. I am happy where I am. :D

I am prepared with projects, and recreation regardless of the weather. I of course look forward to spring.. warmer weather.. and the projects I can do then… but right now today.. it is still winter. I have stuff I can work on, and the trails are awesome for snow biking.

We did have a very rainy summer a few years back and I will admit to a little disappointment with that… we had sooo little sun. Also some of our extended ice storms.. are a little harder to embrace. :NC

Now THAT'S the attitiude ! So many of my friends and family in Maine ( and Chicago ) are "complainin" bout the weather...I told em, "The first one to complain bout the heat, Imma come over thar and punch em in the throat" !

I moved AWAY from the weather( I'm an arborist by trade) and I love the outdoors ! Here in Cali. I can drive my vintage VW YEAR ROUND and camp YEAR ROUND, but...

Out here I hafta beware of the earthquakes and the earth openin up and swallowin me.....or the Santa Ana winds blowin me off the map... or the fires burnin me and my trailer to ash...or the rain creatin flash floods and washin me and my trailer away to oblivian...( I hate livin here ! ) :FNP

 Years ago I was stationed out there. [29 Palms] I did like it. While there… I did experience some strong winds and dust storms and an earthquake… where I was.. there was nothing much to burn.. 8)

I do love the seasons We have here though [and except for my time in the USMC] it has been home. :)

oh and I did buy a vintage VW while out there. One thing I loved about "out there" is how cars could last and not rust out. :)

SoCal is the "mecca" fer findin any "vintage" car because we jus do not RUST ! Found a VW bus burried up to the bottom of the seats in sand... NO RUST. ( It was in the desert)

Lesson here tho... be happy where you ARE. I lived in O.O.Beach, Maine and moved to Boston at 18...Moved West in 78 and have 8 children and 2 ex-wives. I'm quite content out here and even bought a "sun" shovel fer them really "hot" days 8)

Bike on !

I almost lost my 62 VW bus stuck in the sand out there for you… driving some place where I probably shouldn't have been.
