I live in Portland, Oregon and hope to learn lots in the coming years about teardrop trailers and invest time and passion into building one. For now, does anyone know people in my area who rent teardrop trailers for people who want to test different types and sizes? I have looked high and low and found only 'teardrop nw' and a california company 'vacation in a can'. Is there anyone willing to rent theirs for a long summer weekend?

I see from your first post you are looking to Long weekend around Mt. Rainier. We too will be cruising around Rainier on your Memorial day weekend on our way to the Teardrop Gathering at the Gorge. Stevenson Wa.
This might be a good place to check out teardrops, as it is so close to you.
I can tell you from our past experience. Once you have attended a Gathering you will be hooked!
