Newbster from Gulfport MS...reporting from S. Korea

Postby NavySeabee6969 » Tue Apr 08, 2014 6:16 am

Hello TnTTT!

I'm Kevin From Gulfport Mississippi. I have always been fond of TDs and have been researching building one for about a year now. This guy got me hooked:

http://www.instructables.com/id/Teardrop-Trailer/ and when I return from deployment, I will begin my construction. I am getting numerous ideas about designs and setups. I would definitely like to try and make a camp-inn-like style, with roll out kitchen counters, a hot water heater, under bed storage and under cabin water tank...I am still researching and designing a sketchup of my ideas.

I am looking forward to posting my progress photos, and I look forward to seeing everybody's projects as well.

Thank you.

Kevin

Welcome to the forum!

You may also want to check out the Magnolia Chapter of Tearjerkers - we just had a gathering at Paul B. Johnson State Park south of Hattiesburg. Our next is still to be decided--probably will be central MS.

Hey, Thanks for your service to our country,

I am not a veteran, but many veterans here. I have seen several posts from folks planning their TD's on deployment. Please keep us posted. Hope we can camp together someday.

All the best,

AL in Asheville
