Hi guys,

I am currently working on converting my 17ft trailer to a "mobile hackerspace" - MHS
Reading through this forum I can already see that this will be an excellent resource for any questions i might have.

I look forward looking at other peoples projects and offer help with electronics.

my todo list currently:
install propape system for heater and fridge
complete electronic system (microcontroller with logic and solid state relays)
weld hooks onto the front to hook up chains of hitch stabilizer, the Vnose prevents from simply attaching the brackets to the frame at the correct locations.
install a small shower

What's that matter. Did the wife kick you and your electronics out of the house. Ha hahahah There are some great Cargo Trailer ( CT ) conversion in a section dedicated to them. You'll find a lot of help and good ideas there. Most use them for Toy haulers for ATV and motorcycles. A few are just for camping, and I believe I seen a Ham radio enthusiast one as well.

Faraday cage. I bet. I know, I lived in a dorm room that had all pre faded walls panels of aluminum and foam, even the door. Open the door you got a TV single and close the door nothing. Also in the AF I was a Comm/Nav tech. We used a Room with wall containing 5 layers of fine meshed copper screen, all soldered joints and corners and one small door with foam and copper gaskets. This allowed us to repair and test Emergency Locator beacons with our setting off a false alarm.
