TD in chains

How does everyone feel about chaining up your TD when you need to chain your TV. I found some chains I think will fit My TD in the garage and now I wonder if I should keep them or not.

Not sure of your state.... but here in California chains on trailers are only required if it has brakes, not to say they wouldn't help in some icy slick conditions.

You mean Snow chains. Not sure there is a requirement for trailers. If you are moving slow enough and the trailer is light, they might actually stop you tire from spinning and just start it skidding.

Chains only work for tracking when you are trying to propel something.
IMHO they would just be a noisy and possibly destructive component on a teardrop.
So I would say forget that idea and enjoy camping!

Not sure they would gain you anything. The purpose of chains on a vehicle is to provide traction to the drive wheel. No drive wheel on a trailer...

I don't ever plan to camp anywhere or anytime I would need chains, I know, I'm a light-weight......LOL!
