It's been said elsewhere on the forum that the difference between a novice and a craftsman is how well the hide their mistakes!

I cut 2 1" pieces of my plastic hinge to test fit the doors. (the 2 black pieces on the left of the door)
I had to cut off 3/8" on the doors for a 5/8" gap for the hinges to fit.

I also attached the walls back to the floor and did some test fitting and got measurements for
the ceiling pieces.

Don't worry. I had a few of these mistake myself with my router, which I have used on many many projects over the last 20 years. On one bit the bearing disintegrated and made a divot, I over corrected in a few other places. I used 2 part wood filler and if you didn't tell anyone they would never know. One secret I have learned on my projects be it house remodeling, fine furniture marking, paint cars, or building a teardrop don't tell anyone or point out to anyone where the mistakes are. You will know where every one of them are but almost everyone else will never see them or point them out. If they do, tell them that it is a custom feature that you planned and move on.

I'm back. I was working on a side job and I just got back to work on my td last weekend. I did get some things done over the summer, I got the skins on the inside of the sidewalls and I primered the outside and rough cut the doors for the windows I got from Vintage Technologies. Sorry I did not take pictures. But I did take pictures of what I did last week and yesterday.

This is one door with the plastic hinge drilled and screwed in for pre-fitting. I did both doors and then pulled them off to seal. I then glued and screwed the sidewalls into place and attached the roof struts. I also got 1 piece of the ceiling in.

Last night after work I decided to cut kerfs into the plywood to relieve some of the tension. The plywood was starting to crack. I did not finish because it got to dark so I will try to finish today if it does not rain.

Yesterday I got the ceiling glued and stapled in. I did have one crack that I had to re-enforce with glue and little backing piece. I had to cover it for the rain that came last night. Next I am going to get the doors primed and get the door latches. I have not decided which ones yet. I also need to get the cabinets in so I can get my wiring in so I can get the roof on.
Getting closer. Image

Thanks for your replies. It is good to be back at it. I did get the ceiling in last week and then had to get ready for the rain. A little rain did make it inside but everything looks ok. Picked up wire and cable yesterday. The plan today is to get the wiring done in the ceiling so I can get the roof on. I di work on the doors a little after work this week but losing a hour of sun light does not give me much time.

Got to work on the TD today. The wiring in the ceiling is done and the the first layer of 3/4" insulation.
Tomorrow I hope to have the second layer of insulation in so I can put on the roof (1/4" plywood)

I will be using a GFI pigtail with Marinco 150BBI.RV RV On-Board Charger Inlet.
I am using a construction grade extension cord for my AC runs and 14/2 ga boat cable for my DC runs.
