Made a big progress this past weekend.
I started to put 1/8" Baltic Birch on the roof!
I checked all wiring running through the roof and everything was good.
I first put second layer of insulation board. I had planned to use 2 layers of 1" foam board, but because of wires (I did not cut grooves for the wires in the insulation board too good), I decided to use 3/4" board in some places. I cut them undersized a little to fill the gap with spray foam insulation.

Once that is cured, I trimmed and sanded some high spots, then glue downed the first layer of Baltic Birch.

I started to see the end of my long jurney once the roof Baltic Birch is went up!
I also accomplished to insulate back side of tongue box storage area and put finish panel there. I also put trims to cover the edges. Now that was done, I was able to put the framing for storage hatch door back in.

One last thing I did was to make the wall of tongue hatch area thicker.
I had used 1/2" plywood for the tongue box wall, but I started think that was too thin. To make them a little thicker, I decided to add a layer of 1/8" Baltic Birch from inside. This also hid a mistake I made earlier.
When I cut a wall of tongue box, I did not measure twice so it did not come out right. Instead of buying more material, I spliced and recut. Off course I could see a joint inside of the tongue box.

By adding a layer of Baltic Birch, that joint will not be visible.

I did the same on the other side.

My next task is to add second layer of Baltic Birch on the roof and move on to the doors and fixing the main hatch.
