TPMcGinty wrote:Welcome Mike! One of our directors (Lori) is a big kayak person. She puts them on a rack on top of her Camp Inn. Works great! We are having a gathering at Mille Lacs Kathio State Park near Onamia Minnesota this weekend. You are more than welcome to camp with us if you would like. A gathering is a great place to meet people and see some Tears.

Welcome to the board! Bob and I bought our 5 x 9 TCTeardrop last year, and just love it. Tracks behind the tow vehicle and pulls so easy I sometimes forget it's back there (lead foot). If you check out this old TCTeardrops Flickr page, there's numerous photos of kayaks mounted on top of the tears-----perhaps you could mount some kind of container between the kayaks to hold your fishing rods.

See you on the teardrop trail.

Thanks for the info. I see you are pretty close to me if your user name has anything to do with where you live. I am just a hop skip and a jump from you in Beaver Dam.
I have looked through quite a few builds and haven't seen any woodie tear drops that have been purposefully been made to look aged. Are you all aware of any?
