Thanks Corwin C for the reassurance. Filling the weave was no problem and I did double up in a few places. Also I went heavy on the resin in a few places.

I hope I can sand smooth enough to make it look decent.

I have issues with the door. Top of door hinge has to be sealed somehow. Bottom below handle is warped out somewhat. How much was that factory door I decided not to buy?

This is a great project but I have not had time to give it the attention it needs. I have taken to long already and am anxious to complete it.
Plus I used to be a much better carpenter...at least that's the way I remember it.

That mess at the bottom corners is various forms of epoxy. I don't want those seams to show.
The little hinges are not going to stay, to small. These doors seal inside....maybe.

Talked with 2 women today that had just purchased a Little Guy. They were so proud and too happy to give me the tour.

Fo sure! Looks as if I'm a natural for Teardrop Time!

Today I will clean up the inside of the hatch and finish the edges of it to install the hinge. Also plan on another support block of poplar for the hatch light. I am not going to attach the hinge to the body just yet so I have good access for installing cabinets and such.
I know, I know, need to do something about that paint!
First I have to put brakes on my son's Tracker so he can drive back to Tampa for summer classes.

I have been on a couple of camping trips now and it is good! Gives me a chance to fine tune things such as where to put lights and shelves. Now that it is cooling off here I will button a few things up and call it finished.
