Hello and thanks for the great resource. I've already learned a lot. I'm rebuilding a 1980 Jayco Tent Trailer, trying to use as much of the design language of Teardrop Trailers as possible.
I've been a designer for over 20 years, mostly furniture, products, bath and kitchens. I do all my own work, have a full shop, by way of background.
i've been trying to document my build here http://dadkidswork.blogspot.com/?m=0
I might start a build thread later, but the short story is I have 18 days left until our first camping trip this year. The structure is done, almost ready to skin with aluminum. Then have to reinstall the beds, benches, build shelves and wire it. No plumbing, no lights, no stove.
Quick question. Planning on using contact cement to install the .032 alum. Don't want any penetrations.
Typical trim around the edges.
Ok?
Thanks!
Chris
