My X-Cubed will be 5'-2" wide, and 10'-5" long, and from ground to top of fan is 6'-10" Its definitely an oversized "teardrop" but not quite a standy. The cabin and galley are both enormous. It has a really open and relaxing feel to it. Plenty of room to take along whatever I may need for however long I'm going. I'd rather have too much room for storage than not enough. She isn't finished yet, so I have no idea what the height will do to my fuel economy. And I just picked up a new tow vehicle, so I really won't have any comparison to my "normal" size builds.

The Big Pink is 10'3" long x 5' 7" wide with an inside height of 5' 8". (dropped floor)
No galley on it, but plenty of storage.
We really like being able to stand inside to get dressed, etc. and have a queen size bed.

My benroy minabago is 5.5x13 and is the largest teardrop I've seen. With a 2' deep galley, there's 11' dedicated to interior space.
In addition to a queen bed, there's a banquette convertable to a sleeping platform. There's 5' of interior headroom to change in.
With 2 kids, it's perfect for hanging out as well as sleeping. We lose 5mpg towing it, but that was with a 4' tongue. I'm shortening it to 2' to see if it helps. 6 more weeks till the summer camping trip.

Hi Slowcowboy, Mine is a teardrop but 74" wide inside, 12 ft. long and with the dropped floor, 5 ft. 4" tall inside. (my wife is short & round and can stand up in it. ) I need to slouch just a little. But, it's large enough to sleep 2 of the grandkids with us. I have a futon for a bed at the rear, crosswise, which is plenty for us. Also, there is a 5' x 6' floor space for dressing, moving around, and if the weather is nasty, we can get inside with our "bag chairs" and read or watch tv or play cards. We aren't "forced" to lay on our back, only.
My old 4x8 was great, but pretty "snug" for the wife and I. When I built this one, she stated she wanted enough room to set a chair and read when weather was yukky.
It's not fancy and pretty basic. But I can move it by hand and it costs me 2 mpg.

The new SunshineInn is 134" long, 78" wide and 82" at the top of the roof vent, with 67" standing height, with full galley on the back. Kind a cheetin on the teardrop definition. We debut it this weekend at the Hoosier chapter spring gathering. Hope to be able to give good reviews next week.
