Fun to look at, the camper was really interesting to look at. Wonder how many were ever made.

From the book "Jeep" by Jim Allen (which can be viewed on Google books for free): "In 1969, a Camper option was made available for the CJ-5. This was a slide-in unit that had its own set of wheels and suspension to help carry the load. It was recommended for Jeeps with the V-6 and 4.88 axle ratios. The Camper slept four, had a built-in propane stove, water tank, sink, and an icebox. Options included a gas/electric refrigerator, a 10,000 BTU heater, and a second roof vent. These Campers were produced only in 1969 and early 1970. Upon the AMC buyout in February of 1970, this special option was not carried over. Campers are very rare and only a handful remains."

KC, Thanks

1st pic is middle of nowhere in the southeastern OR desert east of Fields a few years ago.
2nd pic is Fortune Creek trail in WA 2012.
3rd & 4th are Santiam SF OR, March this year.

Here are a couple of great shoots from customers of their Dinoot projects that I especially like, both are outside of Moab, UT
