From the book "Jeep" by Jim Allen (which can be viewed on Google books for free): "In 1969, a Camper option was made available for the CJ-5. This was a slide-in unit that had its own set of wheels and suspension to help carry the load. It was recommended for Jeeps with the V-6 and 4.88 axle ratios. The Camper slept four, had a built-in propane stove, water tank, sink, and an icebox. Options included a gas/electric refrigerator, a 10,000 BTU heater, and a second roof vent. These Campers were produced only in 1969 and early 1970. Upon the AMC buyout in February of 1970, this special option was not carried over. Campers are very rare and only a handful remains."
