New guy from Fort Worth

Been lurking in the shadows of some awesome tear drops, finally decide to join. I have been gathering parts and ideas for almost a yr now. I am not planning on building a road worth traveling teardrop, just something to take to the lease for overnight/weekend stays while hunting. The daughter doesn't like the idea of sleeping in a tent when it is anywhere from 35 degrees down to 8.

I have been gathering a lot of ideas, and I am quite sure there will be plenty of questions for the pros. I have no need for an opening kitchen, just a place to stay warm and dry, relax and recharge for the next day. I will need storage, a safe heating system, 3 bunks, a place to mount my solar panels up top and a place to store my deep cycle batteries.

sounds like you need a CARGO conversion maybe you could find a good used 1 around Ft Worth area oh ya welcome from another Texan but now in Nevada

I first considered that, but the daughter enjoys building stuff with me. Rifles, layout boats and deer blinds, so I figured this would be another good project.
