If I had my choice the Subaru Justy with a topper all padded and comfy for Lance..

But my Bug is fun so pretty happy, I'd forget the teardrop was back there if not for the rearview mirror

An old Hudson pickup with a modernized chassis and driveline would be my first choice.

Second choice would be a fastback Pontiac Silver Streak, also with modernized underpinnings.

That Hudson has style. I had a beat down '39 Chevy 1/2 ton. Should have kept it.

Running a 1600cc crossflow with twin sidedraft 40mm Weber carbs, headers etc. Most likely will oil up the plugs cruising with it.

We had one years ago with a "swamp" evaporative cooler.

My understanding is swamp coolers work in dry climates. NC is very humid.

This is my ultimate vehicle for off-roading, on-roading and towing. I guess I'm lucky... but I did work for it.

It's a range rover evoque.... Apparently mrs posh spice beckham helped design the interior.... :NC

The engine is too small, you need a real Range Rover mate :-)

My ultimate tow vehicle at the moment, would be the Volvo V60 wagon, which Volvo USA rate the maximum tow capacity at 3300 Ib. It would be very nice for a 2000 Ib standy.

2015 Toyota Tacoma, Barcelona Red, V6 4x4, Extended Cab, 4 doors, short bed, towing package with transmission and oil coolers. I like it! No pictures of it towing yet. The shell will be here by Christmas Eve so I can keep my camping gear safe and dry. Lots more room than the 2012 Escape V6 4x4 had.
