another foamie build thread

Well I had a busy weekend! I canvassed the second side of the foamie, then the second entry door, and the front/top/back. I wired the lights and fan, and started buildings the front storage rack for the propane bottle and battery. I need to put a reenforcing strip of canvas over the corners, finish the front storage rack, canvas the second cargo door, weather strip the doors, and prime and paint wbefore the 28th. We are camping with some friends that weekend, so it's a can't-miss deadline! I haven't forgotten the pictures, I just haven't spent a lot of time trying to figure them out either. I maintain my promise, though, that after this camping trip, I will figure it out and add a whole bunch!

I finished all canvassing, all door installation, all wiring (except a little tidy work), ironed some wrinkles, and faired the vent-mount surface. Tomorrow I need to make the second door's stop then primer away. If all goes well, maiden tow tomorrow afternoon!

Drove her today! She bounced a bit over some rough stuff, but otherwise towed nicely. I think that with 100 more lbs of gear n beer, it will smooth out.
