Air conditioner power question

Ok I posted on a Facebook group but maybe someone on here knows.

I want to know what the running wattage of a 5000 btu AC is on the low setting. I tried calling the companies and they were less helpful then the manuals.

I am hoping for 250-350 watts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is a comparison list from Amazon, its got running wattage for several different frigidaire models. You will need about 1kw for starting wattage if its a newer unit. I had an older unit that needed more wattage to start than my 2200 watt generator could handle. My new Frigidaire 5000btu unit will run just fine on my Honda EU1000. I would be surprised to see something as low as 300 watts runnning with the compressor.

What's the electrical specs on the unit?
Does it list the amps? Multiply the amps by the voltage and you'll have the wattage.
BTU's is the amount of heat the AC unit would remove from the room.
You can convert BTU to watts, but it's just an energy unit that has nothing to do with the electrical requirements.

It gives the running watts 515 but it doesn't give the low running watts or amps. The amps are 4.7-4.8 depending on company. But still no low cooling wattage. I may have to hook it up and run the thing with exposed wire and see what it takes to run it on low.

The start current on the compressor is what will cause issues.

My 5K BTU is approximately 600 watts running with a start up load of up to 900 Watts.
