??? on Sending Private Message

Received a PM from member Friday but was 'on the road' 'til Saturday afternoon. I answered the PM yesterday & my PM file shows it in my 'Outbox', but doesn't show it in the 'Sent' folder. Question - Has the message been sent & waiting for the member to 'read' it or do I need to do something else to 'send' it? Never had this problem before but then I don't use PM's all that much...

I was confused by that also. Turns out, when you hit the send button, it goes into the outbox.
When your recipiant opens it, then it goes into the sent folder.

Seems odd, but works just fine.

Until the recipient opens it you can unring the bell.
