Sometime you go dohhh.

Postby Epbowen » Fri Jun 20, 2014 8:56 am

So, I bought a pwm off ebay. It shipped from Hong Kong, one thing I didn't think about in this modern age....how to read chinese.
Like which is the input? We would go left in the US, but my experience with foreign equipment tells me that's not how the rest of the world does it.....

Pulse Width Modulator. It's used as a motor speed controller in this case.
Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day; teach a person to use the Internet and they won't bother you for weeks.

:? Wow, I used to live in Hong Kong, and I understand your concern. If you go left on the intermediate web, (the unleashed board), you will be amazed how easy it is to program the different forign signs and figures that seem to puzzle you so much. I found that often, just conjuring up the anti-typical un-published web info, could instantly drift into the absolutely unpredictable outcome of: beware, you are treading on pair-ill-us ground and there is no return, once you start down that path. At times, my digging into those non-American, pro-Asian confines, only exasperated the compound complexity of the absolutely impossible solutions. As they say in China, "Yong-tong, graad-u-flits, yo-bow-say-yo, chang, chang, bom dom rocho-mongo"

Your Plus-minus-plus-minus indication, leads me to believe that your continued search for the proper answers will only lead to a dead end, however, fear not, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, just back up a bit and research the origainal site and the Asian cave from which you obtained it. I hope this info will help, since I often get things mixed up and go off on a tangent. Sorry about that.

Really, I didn't understand a word of your post, and you probably won't understand a bit of mine either, so I guess we are even. All this is tongue in cheek and I don't want to offend you. Good luck on getting some answers to your questions and hope your problem is solved quickly. (Hey, I couldn't resist blabbering on like this)
:? Roly, trying my best to understand, and you are probably in the same boat. Good luck on your quest, what ever it is.
