Hi from SW Washington

Postby Eulalia » Sat Jun 14, 2014 6:23 pm

Hello all, I've been a lurker on this forum for a long time and have talked/dreamed about building my own teardrop trailer for a long time, and it looks like it might work out this summer.

I'm still trying to decide whether I should go the HF trailer route or build full custom. Maybe I'll do the simple route for my first trailer (I really doubt I'll stop at one :D ) and make my mistakes, sell it and build another over the winter in time for camping next spring!

Anyhow, I'm sure I'll get to know many of you, and I have much to learn, and many questions to ask, but most of them have probably been answered already someplace around here.

Welcome Eulalia!

I'm excited for you that you'll soon be able to experience the fun and freedom a teardrop/tiny travel trailer will bring to your life. June 16th was the one year anniversary of meeting my tiny glamper for the first time in person. The past year has been fantastic. I only wish I'd done this sooner.

Best wishes to you on your build.

:applause: Wahoo! Welcome to another from SW Washington. ;) My Hubby and I have had a Teardrop since last year May of 2013 and have been loving it! There are several Teardrop groups out there with loads of great people who will answer any and all questions you end up having (Tnttt is an amazing resource!) TOW Teardrops of Oregon and Washington have many who have home built their trailers and some of us who have purchased them 'off the shelf' ready to go. They also have a quarterly newsletter and all it takes to be a member is to sign up for the newsletter no costs at all! Http://teardroptrailers.org

It all depends on your skill set, $$ and how fast you want to get out in it camping!

We bought ours from TeardropsNW.com  they are in Salem Oregon and are really doing great making a high quality product and they listen to what you want in your design and work to make it just what you want! Even checking their website for ideas on what you want in your build is great too!

Happy Trails!
Stephanie

Hi Stacie
If you are in Spokane now, we are almost neighbours (less than 6 hours apart)
We look forward to meeting you, and maybe a visit to our far might be in your future travels.

Thanks Brian,

I am currently in Spokane but will be leaving soon. I'm sure our paths will be crossing in the near future and thank you for the invite to your farm! :)
