Hello from San Diego

My husband and I love tiny teardrops, but have decided to sell ours for now as it's a little too small for our needs. I haven't spent much time on the forum but I love all of the sharing of info and how nice everyone is in the 'community!' Thanks for welcoming us into the group!

Oh my gosh, Lynda, you may want to reconsider your plans to move up to a bigger (more roomy) camping unit. My wife felt the same way, unill we attended some of the So Calif TD gatherings, where we enjoyed using a simple porta-potty/changing room, attached to one side of our trailer. She realized that changing clothes and such, completely in private, within the secluded area, complete with a wooden floor with a porta-potty, satisfied her camping needs, and loved it for many years.

After traveling for the previous 8 years in our motorhome all over the US, she truly enjoyed the genuine friendship of fellow TDers, and ease of camping in our economical, comfortable teardrop trailer. She was inspired about meeting the greatest camping friends she had ever encountered. She enjoyed the friendship and comraderie within the teardrop gatherings, unlike our experiences during our past years of travel with our motorhome. Hopefully, you will reconsider, and give us a second chance, we're actually very nice folks. The price of gas, which is much less than in a bigger rig, might hopefully change your mind. Come on and join us, we're more fun than the "big guys", I can assure you. After all, where else can you camp, where everyone meets and greets one another with smiles and hugs? Check it out. We never pull the curtains, punch in a vidio tape and ignore the next-door fellow campers........ever.
8) Roly
