Goal was "useable" by the end of June. Started Father's Day with a decked 4/8. Gave up on the hatch Wednesday. Finished painting Friday morning. Took it to field day Saturday morning. Still plenty to do as the devil is in the details!

Worked on the galley hatch frame. Building under a maple tree subject to the weather. Frame is now in the basement as it's raining tonight and a tropical storm is coming next couple days. This slows me for more sanding than I would of done

Because of rain , worked inside. Installed blocking and bracing. Added the skin and stained. Golden oak over Popular and Baltic Birch.
