joined a while ago, but I am just getting around to making my first post. Fiirst, I want to thank everyone for the great posts, pictures, etc. I 'm building a tiny travel trailer, and the info I come across here has been a great help.
I deciced to build one after my daughter got a college sports scholarship. I figured if we want to see many of her events, we'll have to do a lot more travel. With two kids in college, buying a "fixer upper" was the original plan, but that just didn't pan out. So I figured that with year (and a some help), I could build one. Features wanted:
- "Garageable" (to avoid storage fees)
- AC / heat (we'll be using it mostly in the the eastern US)
- Basic connections for RV locations with solar DC (for overnight parking)
- Bathroom and shower (Just couldn't do without)
- Room for 2 adults / 1 child
- Kitchen / Galley area (for tail gating)
- Small enough to be pulled by a car / small truck (van)
Here's a few pics of what we've got so far...
