Hi All,

My name is Matt and I thought I should introduce myself since I am sure I will be asking lots of questions throughout my first teardrop build! I am jumping in head first to this build, I have designed it from the ground up so we will see how my first build turns out. I have just started my build so far I have the metal frame done and ready to be built on! I am just making some final adjustments to my plans once those are done it will be go time....haha. Look forward to sharing the progress of my build with you all and look forward to hearing the feedback and advice as well.

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum, and be aware, there is a very enthusiastic Canadian teardrop builder, right there, north of our US border, that will probablly insist that you swing on by his farm, camp out for a while at his place, and he will share some of his absolutely one-of-a-kind teardrop info with you. His name is Brian, and what ever he tells you is absolutly spot-no, as they say in the Isles. Good luck on your build, you have come to the right place to get build info and remember, ask any questions you like, we will do our best to answer them.

Many of us, unaware of the needs and space required within our galleys, press on, making cabinet decisions and counter space options, which we later regret, once our actual camping experience has started. Check out the Hall of Fame section, which will give you valuable info regarding what others have built and perhaps you can include or alter your original ideas accordingly, space and cabinet wise.

Welcome to tnttt! A good place for your trailer thread would be "Build Journals", IMO. I just finished building my first trailer, and it's great to see another Canuck doing it too!
