San Diego area newbie

Postby KathyWilliams » Thu Jul 17, 2014 7:16 pm

I haven't gotten my TD yet. I do not plan to build one though. I'm currently looking at Little Guy 5 wides. I used to camp often years ago and it's high time I get back into it with a slightly different spin.
I've been reading a bunch of posts and am hoping to learn learn learn. I don't want to buy things I don't need and I do want to be properly outfitted when I do purchase my TD.
I'm a real people person as is my boyfriend. I am excited to get out on a trip ASAP.
Any input you experts may have is very welcome!
Good to know there are plenty of fun folks here!

Hi Kathy, welcome to the forum. Good luck on finding the perfect teardrop, there are plenty to choose from. I am also in So Cal, 70 miles north of you, on the I-15 in Wildomar. If you are ever up this way, swing on by and we'll talk teardrops. I have 3 that I can show you, but just be aware that your dream TD is out there, just waiting for your discovery. Also I must warn you, once you are a teardropper, your life will change, trust me, since there are a bunch of friends here that you haven't met yet. The coffee is always on at my place, so get to buying and come join us at our next So Calif TD gathering at Hurkey Creek, about 5000 ft high with cool mountain air and clear skies in our local mountains Sept 17-to 21.

Most of the information you ask for is at the top of this page in "Design Resources"
