does anyone build teardrops as a business

Postby crazycuda » Wed Jul 09, 2014 11:25 am

I was thinking about this lately now that im more on a kick of wanting to build a teardrop for myself to use at deer camp. Depending on the amount i would use it after i get it completed or if my wife and i get a bigger travel trailer then it would more than likely come up for sale. Building one or 2 a year would be a good hobby/side job but is there actually a good market for homemade teardrops????

Oh, yes....there is a GOOD market for homemade tears. I expect some of those builders will be letting you know.....as soon as they find the time to respond! If you visit the thread here on this forum, Teardrop Manufacturers, that would be a good place to start or repost this thread.

most of the builders are good folks, I have only heard of one in S. Calf. who was not to good." Money magnet " has a bad story but all the others I have heard are good some only do one teardrop a year some more.

They may have several designs to choose from or you might have one you like and the plans.

ask around the real question is how far are you willing to travel to pick it up.

some have set prices some go by the hr. ask around.

look here viewforum.php?f=22
