I am Norm from North Central Kansas. I am getting very interested in teardops and working on deciding whether to build or buy one. I am afraid of my skill level on a build as I have none and probably not much support in this general area. I am retiring soon and want to spend time fishing and with pinball machines. hmmm may have to design the teardrop to be able to transport a pinball.

They are too much hassle to take around to different areas! I want simplicity, ie teardrop would be nice. Probably a fishing kayak for a boat.

Nope,, a teardrop attracts attention anyway,, put a pinball machine in there and they will look at the tear and never leave.

Might be worth setting it up as an optional item to put in. That way when you are wanting the attention you can get it. It would get some attention at teardrop gatherings for sure. I figure on boondocking most of the time so it would not be usable most of the time. The newer ones draw around 6 amps at 120V and peak about double that. Not something to power off a battery/inverter. It would also add a lot of weight. Up to around 600 pounds for newer units. Maybe 400 pounds for an older electromechanical.
