Firewood Storage?

Anybody have a bin for storing firewood? I'm thinking about under the galley counter, as we are going to have a very minimal kitchen. Another idea was a box on the tongue. Any ideas out there?

I'm asking this question along with storing outdoors items that are in the bad weather.

Dave, add a receiver tube under the rear for one of those gear trays...they hold between 2 and 500#s depending on the model

Don't put too much out back. That could really affect your tongue weight.

We used old suitcases on the roof rack

I carry firewood in a storage box, which is inside the tear over the axle. The box goes under the tear when camping.... do not see much sense is tying up space for that type of thing. Most I've seen tend to use the interior as a suitcase for travel, like screen rooms, lounges, etc., things that will be used when camping, and therefore out of the tear.

Arne, I hadn't thoughtof the simple way of just putting it inside until you get there. Although, the suitcases are pretty damn cool.

We usually camp at State parks..so firewood is usually everywhere........if not we cheat and take along a few of those "fake logs" that burn for 3- 4 hours
