New Guy from southern ohio

Postby guitarman023 » Tue Jul 22, 2014 8:16 am

I'm from the mid-ohio valley, been tent camping for years and I'm getting tired of lugging my equipment all over and setting up tents, looking to possibly buy a small old camper and outfit the way I want it, or convert a travel trailer. This looked like a great resource to help me figure out what I want to do exactly.

Welcome! I hope you will do the one thing I always encourage all newbies to do, Read, Read, read the builds read the information found in the technical areas, and get familiar with the forum, I know you will find many answers to many of your questions and information that will confuse and give you reason to change your thinking . I am sure that just about anyone can build some type of teardrop or tiny travel trailer with a limited amount of tools. Have fun is the main thing!!

Good luck!! Oh and the main thing about the forum. Pictures, and more pictures!!!!!!

I am up to 6 trailers now and have ran out of storage room here is the build thread of my FRP skinned 4 wide. I would sell it ready to camp, bed side table and all for $1200.00 .

I appreciate it, probably a little more than I'm willing to spend at the moment. I'm hoping to build a little wider as well so a queen mattress will fit.

Chubby is 5'6" wide by 10' nose to tail and has a queen pillow top inside. I love camping in it.

And yes it is built on the 4x8 HF trailer frame.
