Howdy from Granbury, TX. Am researching teardrops with the intention to build withing the next couple of months.
Hope you'll share the answers to my uneducated questions. Looking forward to getting started.

Welcome to this wonderful site of info I was from Cleaburne and Glen Rose for 10 yrs back in the 80's-90's now I'm in Las Vegas still got land there behind the state park well good luck with your build and post pics so we can follow along

There are several members in the Fort Worth area that have some very nice teardrops. Look for gatherings in the area, it might help you with your design. Welcome and good luck on the build. I have been designing mine for over a year. About to start building. You can learn a lot from the members on this forum.
Finally the build has started. Oversized Off-road Benroy (Military Themed)

Obviously this forum is a deep, deep well of information. I'm in the planning stages of build #3. The best thing I stumbled upon with build #1, was buying a copy of Steve Fredrick's teardrop Shop Manual. You can read a review of Steve's manual here: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=6397&hilit=shop+manual It's about 250 pages with lots of photos. I really like the way he advocates to put a ledge on the walls and his suggested hatch building technique. Waterproof, dust-proof and easy to build. (and no, I'm not associated with Steve)

But I still come back here and search to see how others have done it. :thumbsup:
