Here's a topic...how do you surf online dating sites when out camping?

A portable solar panel works great. I have one with a 30 ft cord, so it can be placed in the sun as needed.

Using a genny or a car alternator is fine if you have gotten so low overnite you need more juice in the morning. But if not, then the sun can take it's sweet time to charge you up over the rest of the day.

How do you know it is at 50%? Do you have some kind of gauge on your battery? How do you measure that the battery has reached full charge after only 10 minutes of running your tow vehicle? Or is it just a guess? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't have ac, don't have a heater. I've camped when its been over a hundred and below freezing. When I camp I try to be un plugged. For me the beauty of camping is good friends, good food and getting back to the real basics. For me no micro waves, elec shavers, blenders, elec blankets. Some peeps just need more comforts then others, thats fine. I do that at home.
Nothing like snuggling with my wife for warmth.
Camp anyway you want Slo, but quit asking dumb questions about how others do it. It won't change what you do.
