10,000 miles - teardrop video

Postby shorestyle » Tue Aug 12, 2014 10:02 am

Just got back from my trip. Did 10,000 miles on the red harbor freight trailer frame. No tire blowouts, no problems. Was very excited about it. Camping in the desert with the three speed fan and the small window on my door created an awesome cross breeze. My first teardrop held up! For those interested....

here is a video of my 10,000 mile journey across America, including 12 National Parks.

Thanks!

Simply thee best teardrop video I've ever seen IMO - bar none. You didn't just photograph a stationary teardrop at your campsite. You totally captured the spirit of why we have these things. The adventure. The process of exploration and discovery. You and your lady did an awesome job. Congratulations. :applause:

I love it!
My wife and I are both teachers and before child (we waited till we were late 30's) we did what we would call a whirlwind tour for vacation. We'd leave our apartment a week after school let out for summer and we would bounce around until the week before school started. A few weeks of that time we were either visiting her parents, brother or my mom, but we still managed to get quite a bit of traveling in. That was of course LONG before GoPro or even video point and shoot cameras.
The wife is worried about my recent desire to build a teardrop, but I see a new type of whirlwind tour in our future. As you showed here, a MUCH more fun version of the same old thing!
Thanks for sharing :applause:
Just starting out! Wish me luck!

Such an amazing video. I have had my teardrop on the road for about 3 years now and my grandson and I take off whenever we can. I recognized about 90% of the places you have visited. I am so grateful to have shared some of the most beautiful places in the western US with him. Wish I videoed our trips like you have. Bravo!
