Prefab "car" cover for a TTT?

Postby eggsalad » Sun Aug 10, 2014 8:52 pm

In another thread, someone posted about using a store-bought car-type cover for storing his/her TTT outdoors.

Where does one find such a thing? My camper's approximate dimensions are 4x4x7 feet, if that helps.

Thanks,

You can find them in any auto parts store or walmart. I use a small SUV cover over my 5 Wide Little guy Teardrop and just have to gather a little of the extra material in the front.

My 5x10 has a lexan roof and the cover I chose was nylon reinforced. They will scratch the hell out of any finish. I took an old bed comforter and placed it as a protective barrier then added the weather proof cover.

Just an FYI

Are you asking about covers.. or the "instant garage" type things?

You might want to include a roof rack or some other form of stand-offs so air can circulate under the cover to prevent mold/mildew growth.

Could you also put beach balls, inner tubes, etc on the top under the cover to give you that spacing for circulation? I used these ideas on a fish n ski boat when it was under cover.
