The roof is finally on. Added the 1/4" plywood skin, had a little trouble lining it up side to side. Will patch and sand with bondo. Glad we made it 47 1/2" wide so we had that extra bit of play on both sides.

A daddy longlegs kept us company in the shed.

Karen applying Titebond to the seams.

Gordon drawing guidelines for the screws attaching the cover to the hatch. This really helped.

I applied resin in October. I left the light on it while it dried. When Gordon came out to put the trailer away, thousands of gnats were stuck in the glue. Shades of Jurassic Park. Thankfully most of them brushed off after a few days.

Our hatch lying on our saw horses, all put together.

Sanding the resin, last October.

Finally back to work on the trailer it was a long winter without a garage. Mixing up Bondo for the hatch on May 12th—with shorter hair!

Lots of sanding to go!

One of the doors for our headboard/cupboard. Love the wood! It was a paint grade panel from Lowe's cut in half.

The hatch set in place. It fits! still have a lot more sanding to go. Need something better than the little palm sander. I'll have to see what I can borrow.
