Big Thanks Gage!!!

A buddy of mine was coming up from So. Cal for some camping and Gage and Tanya drove over to his place and gave George this pair of lanterns to bring up to me. Thanks very much Gage! I didn't have a 200 Christmas lantern, nice of you to think of me. It's a 6/51, only made them 1 year, the 242C is a July '49. I think they are both workers, just need a little TLC and some time. These belonged to his father and grandfather I believe, and were probably used on the camping trip when Gage was a kid and photographed standing next to the teardrop trailer. They won't leave my possession. Both will get the full resto. treatment and an honored place in the gas pressure appliance museum. It's nice to have camping friends like that! Doug

Shucks guys , it was nothing. Been trying to get those lanterns up to Doug’s for a couple of years now. The green one worked a few years ago when I last used them. I carried them in the Dalton. Did you get a couple of Coleman funnels with them Doug? If I remember correctly, one of the funnels had a filter setup in it.
