Humm,

Went to the big supermarket, looked for Bartles & James wine coolers and only found NASCAR labeled Budwiser.

Oh well. No being out in nature for me in my monster mudder pick 'em up truck.

I must be a Mexican. I came home with a half pint of Jose Cuervo instead.

Off to southern Mexico in a month. Painting pictures in my trailer until then. (I really like the new skylight. Got two now. Contemplating a third. Might take out the crank up vent and put in a 14 x 14 inch skylight, with a big rig air vent in front, the kind that opens forward or reverse.)

Sounds like a plan ... but if you put one of those two-way vents in ya
might want to put a second one in on the opposite side and at the far
end form the first one. Better ventilation thata-way and helps remove
the paint and thinner fumes.
Do ya think they have the damage from Odeil (sp?) fixed=up by the
time you land there???

Good idea, but I've already got multiple vents on both ends and the side. :fan:

The crank up vent is mostly to let the heat out, and so will it be for its replacement, if I get around to it. New vent: http://imageshack.us/a/img17/9241/sidevent.jpg

The hurricane that hit Baja did a lot of damage. I don't go to Baja. I go way south on the mainland of Mexico, to Zihuatanejo and the beaches of Oaxaca. :icedtea:

Yeah, sorry about the fuzziness of that last photo, but I got a new camera with 7 megapixels. We have to reduce that way, way down in a photo editor to get it to comply with the limits here on the forum. I got it a bit too small, but click on it to see it larger. :pictures:

The new skylight is glowing with white light in the photo.

Prem, Howdy;

I'm very familiar with those vents, used to have one on each side of the sleeper
in the big trucks I used to drive. I liked the way I could open it in either direction.
I used to think how it would have been nice if they would have been mounted
with the long side running fore an aft, so I could keep them open while it was raining
and I was parked and trying to get a nap.

Yeah, those vents can be hard to open and close, plus they don't come with screens to keep bugs out. I got mine at the swap meet for $1 but it didn't come with the trim ring. NG. Might have to buy a new one with trim ring and the big plastic handle (easier to open and close).
