Hoosier Chapter Gathering Spring May 14,15,16 2015

Another successful road trip to look at campgrounds has been completed.

Dan and I looked at Hardy Lake for the Spring gathering.

Reservations can be made (6) months in advance of your camping date at:

The parks has both shaded and open sites and the map shows (colored in) what we think is a good area to have our group gathering.
Anywhere in the general area is fine.

Dates for the Spring Gathering:
May 14,15,16

Reservations can be made as early as November 14th or (6) months in advance of your camping date.

I think the fishing is pretty good at hardy. Maybe we can take another shot at a fish fry!

Mark, I like the way you think. We don't need a fishing contest but if we could collect and fillet the whole catch then a fish fry sounds really good.

I suppose over a two day period we could catch enough for a small fish fry.

Looks like the dates will coincide with us bringing Jim's aunt back to Indiana before we start on the road towards Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons...Hopefully we will see you all at Hardy Lake...with the Taj Mahal again.

I can envision a "Fishing Party" that will go out on Friday or Saturday (or both) and , as a group, we can fish , talk, and socialize. Could be a great time comparing bait, techniques and other things.
If we get lucky, we can provide enough fish for a "Fish Fry" at the pitch in dinner on Saturday.

Any comments on this idea??
