Thanks guys, but I had to many trailers so this one was sold back in 2013. Next year I will be selling my first teardrop because I bought a vintage trailer to restore. It's hard to let them go but I have a plan for another teardrop when the Silver Streak is ready to camp in and the Woodybago is sold. There is only so much space.

I will always have a teardrop. That will be my main trailer. The Silver Streak is very cool and I could not pass it up. But you can not beat the teardrop for traveling.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I'll post how the maiden voyage goes with a few pictures. I am really interested in how the folding capabilities will change how I camp. My first unit has a full mattress in it. But when there is bad weather, your climbing in and sitting on the mattress. With the folding option I can sit on a nice couch and work on the computer, plan the next stop or have dinner if need be. There is a small folding table that fits under the pullout.

Just reading through this build. You sir, are a fine craftsman. It is so refreshing to see an artist involved in his craft. My first though when I saw the floor was...a table is going to be raised out of it, so I wasn't surprised when you said one slides under the bed. Makes for a great stowaway place to. You certainly do beautiful work.

I know I'm dragging up an old post but where did you get your seat mechanism? Thanks Had to look back at some of your old builds. I learn something looking at your post over again.

Kim, they are the rear seats out of a Leisure van. This is the seat that folds into a bed. I just went to a Pick and Pull auto junkyard and found 2 similar seats. I think they were 25 bucks each. I stripped off the upholstery and made my own mounts and mattresses.

BTW Woodbutcher, Have you thought about putting your build photos and instructionals in a book form??
