Just picked up a 228F lantern and a 425E stove for $20 each. Not the deal of the century but they seem to be in decent working order so I'm satisfied. Like most they don't seem to have seen a whole lot of use, more transport wear and storage in a damp environment.

The stove is dated 1970. The case has a decent amount of rust, but it doesn't seem to have compromised it's integrity yet. I may try a basic cleanup and repaint. The tank and valving looks good. The burners/mixing chamber unit is surprisingly nice, makes me wonder if it was replaced at some point.
The lantern is dated June of 1972, and being a 228 it has the wider brim ventilator that appeals to me, though I'm finding there are fewer storage case options than the narrower 220. The vertical that attaches the bale on one side had one of the tack welds give up.. and as I was securing it for transport the other tack weld let go so that side is completely off. Not a huge deal as I can redo the weld. What excited me was once I got home I realized the clamp on the fount was holding on an "accessory safe" with the factory wrench, 5 spare mantles, and a spare generator!
