Since that time, my expectation of what camping experiences as a TD owner would be like, have taken many unexpected turns.

I originally pictured Sandi and I travelling around exploring the country in our own self contained camping unit.

There was no thought of Gatherings( I had not heard of them yet), nor Dutch Oven cooking (didn't know what a DO was), nor did I expect so much interaction with other campers in campgrounds (met so many wonderful people ) , nor did I expect the amount of attention our Teardrop draws (every place we go......gas stations, grocery store parking lots, parks, rest stops,6 lane freeways...),
nor did I anticipate how many new friends we would meet so quickly (have friends in every state we have visited) nor did I think we would be hosting events (had our first Canadian TJ Gathering here at our farm this past summer), nor did I see myself as the area representative for two Tearjerkers Chapters (New B.C. Chapter and the PNW Chapter) nor did I think I would become a Cast Iron Collector (have been buying up cast Iron cooking utensils everywhere........bought a #12 Grisold Frying pan just this morning) nor did I think I was going to learn to type and post on a Forum (now I am addicted and post every day), and last I would have outright denied any interest in ever building a second Teardrop (and now I am going full bore on Kermit).
Who would have guessed???????

Good Roads
Brian & Sandi
