Aggravations.......some have advocated placing the wires next to the trailer skin to avoid being drilled/screwed/pierced. My running lights quit working and I couldn't figure it out.

I checked the last wires I remember doing before lights out.....everything looked good but the fuse (truck) was blown......replaced it with an immediate blow.......removed EVERYTHING I had done today and found a mangled wire that had not one or two hits but three

.......fixed it and placed ALL wires next to the skin (these are strictly the trailer lights).......replaced the fuse.....IT WORKS

.......then started replacing plywood and furring strips, periodically checking the lights to ensure they still worked...

.... all said and done, lessons learned.......
