IMHO, All of us should go back and read Rob's & Wendy's last posts again ... slowly ... and for some, several times ... ...! I am, at times, a wordsmith, but they nailed it! way better than I think I could have!

For those of you that have a problem with Slow's banning. As an ex-admin and a member of this forum for over 10 years I can assure you that this has been an issue for years with him. There have been comments that many of you haven't seen as they have been pulled as soon as they were spotted, you guys don't see everything that goes on here. There is a portion of the forum that non admin's can't see, however, there are tons of posts in there of his bad behavior, comments, that have been pulled. This goes back to about the day he joined. Whether it be his anti government rants, rude comments on women, out of staters, or racist remarks on Asians. The admins have been bombarded with requests to do something about this guy from day one, many people just flat out leaving the forum because of him and they have let us know. Someone finally did something about it.

Well said! The moderators see way more, and have a "complete" history of what is or was going on with any given member.
If the decision was made by the administration to ban anyone then I support them 100% , and I'm pretty darn sure that action was not taken without due warning to the involved party(s). :applause: :applause: :applause:

Had this been a one time thing, I doubt the mods would have reacted the way they did.

I'm all for forgiveness, but Mike has repeatedly used the forum to vent. That's something for a campfire, not an online forum. I hope the "time out" works and Mike is back with us in a more civil guise soon.

P.S. I don't think Mike's issues have anything to do with a disease or limitation. Even if they did, at some point you have to play with the hand you are dealt and try to improve things rather than continue to rant every time things get tough. Life is what it is.

It doesn't matter if he was bullied for a month or 10 years. Quite often he was driven to post the way he did. I've been lurking here for a year and a half and he was treated with contempt the entire time. The discuss started off regarding bullying then Admins try to justify their actions. Now this turns up:

He's gone and the bullying persists. Some people just don't get it.

Admins, there doesn't appear to be a way for me to deactivate my account. Please do so on my behalf. No big deal regarding posts but the financial donation I made will certainly not be repeated.

I'm locking this thread for the time being, I have enough to deal with right now with all the spammers attacking the forum. We can deal with this later.
