I did allot of reading and viewing pictures on this forum before and during my teardrop build. I didn't start a build journal right away in case I never finished the project or it looked like garbage. I think it looks presentable and is sure functional for us so have posted a few pictures. It all started about a year and a half ago. My parents relocated from Saskatoon to Westbank downsizing considerably in the process. I ended up with an old boat trailer and a box full of clamps. Turns out the bearings on the trailer were worse than shot, one axle end was overheated and blued, the other end had a stripped nut. Sure glad it didn't come apart in Roger's Pass. First job was to weld on new stubs but when unbolting the axle, thats when I noticed two cracks in the frame. I kept the tongue jack, safety chains and the licence plate. Oh well, It got me started anyway.
