Hi From Pennsylvania

Hi, All,

I have read your posts with interest for quite awhile now. I am attempting to build a small camper out of foamular on a 4 x 8 trailer. The purpose of it is to have a place to arrange flowers for weddings. I would like the flower arranging to be a business eventually. Right now it is just a hobby. Because of that, the trailer must be tall enough for me to stand up in, be light enough for my car to pull, and it must be able to be cooled to 40 degrees.

My camper must be collapsible also, because I do not want it sitting in the yard growing long grass under it or have to move it every time my husband mows. So it must go under the sun porch. This means I won't be doing the standard teardrop design even though I would very much like to make a teardrop. As you might imagine, this has complicated my design quite a bit. I think I have it figured out now, so I am starting.

I am trying to transfer the structural integrity of the teardrop into a vardo-type foamy design. I will post what I am doing soon.

Any comments will be appreciated.

Welcome, I have a daughter in Lancaster and one in York. I have a 5000 btu in mine, I've never tried to cool to 40, but it maintains low 70's easily ( in Texas/Okla. summer). Good luck. Coyote

I plan on installing a Coolbot with the Window Air Conditioner

http://www.storeitcold.com/index.html

The regular air conditioners have a set lowest temperature. I am worried about the air conditioner icing up, though. The trailer will not be air tight.

It will be a cooler on wheels, basically, but can be used for a travel trailer if we don't turn the air conditioner
down so low.
