We already have a compact camper ( Casita 17' Freedom Deluxe) I don't think there is a better compact camper to be had. Everything on it and in it works as good as the day it was purchased. The air conditioning will freeze you out unless you turn it down. I recently finished a 1932 Ford Pickup and we plan on using the truck to attend a number of street rod shows around the east coast. I have pulled the Casita to a few functions but am looking to build a camper that would be a cross between a tear drop and a caned ham. I think I will be looking for a aluminum boat trailer and from that will add 2X2 aluminum sq tubing to lay up the framework and roof. I think I will be using an aluminum skin for the sides and roof. I am trying to make an ultra light type. I am happy to be able to obtain information on the TnTTT site in order to keep from reinventing the wheel. I am in hopes of coming up with a wedge type camper with a rear door that will be between 1500 and a max of 2000 lbs. Has anyone on the site seen anything like what I am describing ? Happy New Year to all.
Have fun,
buckshot
