Hello from north carolina

Postby jeffrey » Thu Sep 25, 2014 8:42 pm

Well all I can say is what I feel.....GREAT!!! I can't wait to start a build. I believe with the knowledge some of you folks have I can't go wrong. My background is pretty vast, I can build damn near anything.... With help.... Lol. I have to keep this short because I'm on a phone right now. I'm very interested in a set of plans from KUFFLE CREEK called the CUBBY, as well as the WIDGET, and the BENROY from this site. I help in this would be great. Thx

Ok guys and gals,
Sorry for my last post....hAD TO KEEP IT SHORT AS I WAS ON A CELL PHONE. Well now im on my laptop. Let me say that im greatfull for being apart of this site. It took me awhile to think about joining as i was more interested in building a tiny house on wheels. I thought that was a grand idea...... but then i took notice to teardrop trailers...WOW! :applause: Im hooked!
I just love that design of htese little things, and the simplicity. Im very much a hands on kinda guy. However i can see that like any project....this will call for some effort to get it right. As such right off the bat i feel as though i must say that plan on using the 5x8 trailer from HF. Plans can change though since i live within 5 miles of the top 3 trailer companys. I guess we'll see on that. plenty of time to think about that.
some of the designs ive seen so far that i take an interest to are the WIDGET, (cant find any plans on that), the BENROY(posted on this site), and a design form KUFFLE CREEK called the CUBBY. As with the CUBBY it;s explained that their is a hatch in the middle of the floor for a toilet...NICE...but i think i can advance this to a small shower unit....maybe?!?! Any help on either of these designs would be great.
As far as my background....welll...
i used to like hunting, but dont much care for it anymore as i now know that i can go to a store and purchase my food....or grow my own. i love being outdoors...even when it's a thunderstorm...(my GF hates that though). My whole life is based on being outside with mother nature. I feel sorry in a way for the rich folk that i usuaaly work for on a daily basis...ergo....doctors, business owners, lawyers...ect.....ya know the ones with more money then they know what to do with. Although they always claim they live like the rest of us.....lol. Mean while they have a $1000 bike, hangin in the garage, and a boat in the yard with a fancey electric dog collar for there little mut. No big deal where all people. Some have grip....some dont...the rest of us are just trying to hang on!
I love to play chess.....i breath that game! I love to study the universe, .....stars, moons , galaxeys, ect. i like to track animal prints in the land....ect.
Give me a backpack and i can live in it for 6 months.....101st airborn! ,,,hooooraahhhhh go army!
So at this point im not really sure what to say anymore other then .......glad to be here....

Howdy Jeffery,
I'm just getting antiquated with teardrops too. I have been camping in tents, cabins & average campers but a teardrop looks like it may be better than a popup. Maybe we can go hunting (for TD) together, I live just north of Charlotte, NC and am planning on maybe a run to Maggie Valley or Linville later this year. I think these are the locations and dates. New Burn NC <May 14-17> KOA in New Burn - Linville Falls <June 5-7> & Maggie Valley <Sept 17-20> http://www.tincantourists.com or search online. Send message or reply and feel free to share info. I may get a trailer but not planning on starting anything until I've seen a few in person. Thanks mooseman NC.
