Hello from Idaho

Postby ranger367 » Sun Jan 04, 2015 10:53 am

This is my first cargo trailer project. It is a 2013 TNT 8 X 20. Not sure what I was getting into when I started this project, but with information I have got from this website it hasn't been bad. Has a set of bunk beds in the front for the kids, and a full size murphy bed in the back for the wife and I. I installed a two burner stove, and a radiant heater, neither on requires power. Only thing that takes power are the two LED interior lights, one outside light, and the pump for the sink. I am still insulating and adding things. Probably will for a long time thanks to this site! :frustrated:

I hope the radiant heater is vented!!
If not, besides the oxygen depletion and CO2 dangers(real killers).
A un-venter heater will make it very humid and uncomfortable inside .

Welcome to this great site and as said before vent your heater if not at least vent your trailer a small vent in the side walls one on each side will make a big difference in the air flow. Remember we love pics of builds

Yes, the heater is vented. This was one project I didn't want to do. It required cutting an eight in hole through the side of the trailer. It is used for both intake, and exhaust.

Welcome! Your build looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing more about your build.
What part of Idaho are you located in?

Thanks, it has been put away for the winter but I've got a list of projects to work on this spring.

I am in Grangeville, about 4 hours north of Boise, what about you?

That is a bit up there. We're in the southeast corner of the state below Pocatello in a tiny valley. Arbon is so small the only two buses we have are "short" busses! We also have a two room school house.

There are a few others on here from Idaho. Two that I can think of right now, one is down close to Boise, and I think the other is from the Burley area.

Looking forward to spring when we all can start our projects!
