Norm , thanks , that’s so COOL !!! That would be almost an ideal shape for someone wanting a streamline Foamie and not wanting to do curved foam ... And towed backwards .... pointy end first !!! That deserves a drawing

Do you still slide a foamy boat in side? It would be good for the Do I take the camper or the boat crowd. Take both!!

I couldn’t help myself ... Just “had” to make a drawing ... So nice for an all straight cut design , (no curves) ... plenty of room , plus the Boat too ...

Thinking Main camper ~ 5+ ft. Wide, 4’ High , and then the top addition (the Vista cruiser top) ... Try to keep the whole thing under 80” Tall so it will be easily garageable .. Boat can be 48” Wide,and 8-10' long... overall camper length of ~12-14’ ... ? Something that size would be fairly simple to pull off in Foam ... Boat too ...
No kerfing or bending ... cut the panels with the correct angles, glue them together and Bob’s your ...

And JMHO FWIW , reversing the direction of the trailer makes it more streamline and removes the idea of a heavy clam shell rear end , complete with leaky hinge ... Side door(s) can be placed where needed since the design is basically Square ... ish’ . The new rear , formerly the front, could be built recessed (see drawing) to serve as an overhang in the now back of the trailer , keeping you and the rear barn doors out of the weather, dry , and providing a little streamlining effect too ...

All with no bends , no curves... Easy ... flat plates cut with angles and straight lines Only

Not sure if you noticed or not. The Vista Cruiser (how many people know where that comes from?) looks to be a later addition. Going by the picture, on the brochure listed with the sale, it does not show that top.

That VC top is part of the "charm” ... The one without it looks kinda’ Plain Vanilla ... it affords more headroom too ... JMHO

You know , with top VC windows that opened (screened) , you wouldn’t need a separate vent ... Nothing extra sticking out the top to keep it from clearing the garage door ... As much as we’ve learned about how well Foamies can live outside , they Do stay much cleaner Inside when not being used... Likely to last even Longer with even less maintenance .. Storing both Boat and camper in the same spot (nested) also saves one whole car space in a garage ... And saves the boat from becoming another big incidental storage container , as they’re prone to do left open , in a garage .

Being all straight lines and angle cuts ... if you had a good table saw and a shop big enough , you could knock out both the trailer and a boat to go inside too .. No kerfing or bending means just Cut , Glue , and Cover....
