Hi All,
I'm Clayton and looking at starting to build my own Tear Drop trailer some time this year. I kind of know what i'm looking for but stumbled across your forum and thought it would be a good idea to get some tips from the guys who have actually done the hard yards.
I will keep you posted on my progress as i get on, i have allot of reading to do then i'm out to start buying the correct tools first then begin. If you guys do have any advice I would really appreciate any big or small.
Thank you in advance.
Cheers
Clay

Hi Brian
Actually there are not that many around and I'm finding it very hard to find tt parts like doors ,Windows, and although the information here is great I don't understand some of it because we use different wording for some parts. .... But I'll figure it out. Anyway if you guys know of great places to look at parts on line that would be great so might have to look at importing some of the things here.
Love the info and the forum.
You guys inspire me to get this done.

The one tool that is essential for me is a Black & Decker 10" table/bench saw ( 48" table) . I bought mine on clearance at Lowes about 15 years ago- it had a small pop can size rust mark on the cast iron table- best $200 tool investment I ever made. Without the table saw I would be relegated to building a simple 4x8 box on wheels.
