 I'm with you Gage.
Never cared for football, have better things to do.
:D Danny

Is that classed as "Un-American"? Just as un-patriotic as Kiwis not liking Rugby?

Us kiwis arnt big on patriotism in the australian, American sense....we are far less emotional and extreme about it but your likely to cop some verbal if you knock the mighty all blacks :)

Thanks Dale!
I just couldn't resist getting the Dig in.....but I have played both and enjoyed them equally.
But now that I am old and fat... :frightened: I enjoy the NFL from the couch, and prefer it to the CFL.
Much to the displeasure of my fellow Canucks....but Canadian Football is like watching school kids play a game of "Mark".......Kick, Kick, Kick.?????
But now it is back to Kermit for a couple of weeks.

When I saw the subject of your post, I was wandering how someone in beautiful BC became a Texas A&M University fan.

Then I read your post and found out that it was the other 12th man (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2437992).

Don't worry - with the Cowboys out of the playoffs, I'm pulling for the Seahawks over the Patriots!

Hi Tom
Dating back to 1969, I became a hard core Dallas Cowboy fan! And when I had my boys we watched Football together (one stuck with his dad and was a Cowboy fan and the other was a 49er fan).
But, when the Seahawks joined the league I slowly slid over, as they are our closest NFL team geographically.
But, going back to my college days (when I used to watch College Football too) I was a hard core Longhorn Fan!!
Go Seahawks!
Very interesting read on the attachment......THANKS.

Sounds like they did & probably will pay a hefty fine for doing so. I agree with that . I don't think it changed a thing in the outcome of the Pats/Colts game but that's not the issue here . I won't be doing any teardropping/tailgating during the superbowl ( kind of chilly up this way ) but I'm still a Pats fan ..............

I'm with Danny on this one!! Lost interest in the Hawks when they got moved to a different division and their colors changed, but what really killed the interest was the sham game in the 05-06 super bowl!! whether they won or lost, it was a bunch of garbage calls that did it for me and I have NOT watched it since!! For me, Kevin Harvick won this year driving a Chevy!!!! (with still no Toyota champion!!!!) Never had much interest in sports growing up being we didn't even have a sport team here until 67 with the Sonics (and they are where now? another example of sports being garbage!! the Thunder??) Pilots in 69 - gone by 70(now the Brewers) then Hawks and Mariners in 76 with them moving/not moving - how many times so far? I still remember being upset when I found out as a 5/6 year old that the Redskins/Senator's weren't from Washington. My growing up interests went to car's from that point on. I am going to be so glad when all of this is over with!!! Am sick & tired of all the hoopla of having to listen to all of the "captive" audience at work, being they have nothing else to do but follow this.
